DASSI has a highly experienced team of trained care workers to provide personal care services including:

• Assistance to regain essential life skills

• Assist with hydrotherapy or gym programs under the direction of an OT or Physiotherapist

• Assist bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, feeding and grooming

• Domestic assistance including light meal preparation, general house cleaning, bed making, and personal laundry

• Assistance in getting to and from regular health professional appointments

• Services to clients with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injuries, stoke, and cognitive impairments (dementia) and many other medical conditions

• Complex specialist care, including managing PEG feeds, respiratory support, ventilator and tracheotomy care

• Anything from 2 hours to 24/7 care

• Support plan development in conjunction with case manager, doctor, occupational therapist and other allied health professional

• Care Workers that are fully trained, accredited and police checked

• Care Workers can assist in the administration of medication.
